A treasure trove of some of Kyushu’s most beloved wetland plants, the Kashibaru Wetlands sit nestled in the mountains of Nanayama at an altitude of 591 meters. Over 90 different kinds of plants, including some exceptionally rare varieties like the white fringed orchid, along with colorful wild birds, butterflies and dragonflies populate these wetlands and give it a vibrancy that is unparalleled. Guests can enjoy all of these beautiful sights while walking along the wooden paths built above the marsh.
