A park maintained near the confluence of the Tamashima and Hirabaru rivers. Legend tells us that a war general stopped here to fish for fortune in the river before a battle. The general caught a resplendent carp, and the Chinese character “鮎” (meaning river trout) was created. Many stone monuments of various colors stand here.
