The Matsurokan is a museum located in central Karatsu dedicated to the Nabatake site, which is believed to be the birthplace of Japanese rice cultivation. Inside the museum are recreations of items from the Yayoi
period (between the 100-200 Centuries), and artistic interpretations of life in those times.
