Standing at a height of 30 meters at the foot of the Genkai Sea, these two wave-battered basalt rock formations are a beautiful sight to behold. Because the two standing rocks invoke images of a man and woman standing together, this place is also called “Couples’ Rock.”
Note: There is a walking path leading to a shrine under the standing rocks, but it is often closed off to the public.
